A modern casual-dining food hall in Arlington, an inspired mix of a Vietnamese noodle bar, Hawaiian grill and a teahouse, has been stylishly partnered with custom polished plaster wall finishes from local experts Senza Finé. The Happy Eatery’s name and idea for a multi-concept Asian kitchen stem from its parent company Happy Endings Hospitality, responsible for several restaurant brands in Northern Virginia.
The venue owners specified over 2,000 square feet of Armourcoat KonCrete, an urban range of polished plaster colors and finishes designed for contemporary projects. The range offers a wealth of design options to achieve a distinctive modern look, including recessed ‘shutter’ markings. A feature wall within the dining space presents further custom plaster finishes to showcase the design possibilities with this hand-applied material.
