Aster, a new mixed-use development close to the College Park Metro station and the University of Maryland campus, has been designed with natural materials as part of a biophilic concept to increase occupant connectivity to the natural environment. It’s fitting then that polished plaster wall finishes by specialist installer Senza Finé were specified to reflect this as part of the interior design.
A glass-walled skybridge connects the two buildings which house close to 400 apartments and amenities including individual workspaces, co-working lounges, a fitness center, clubroom, TV lounge and game room. Artwork from local artists continues the natural theme of the interior concept by Street Sense, working with the 6,300 square feet of a ‘raked’ custom polished plaster finish expertly applied by Senza Finé throughout the lobby and amenity areas.
