Custom polished plaster wall finishes created by Senza Finé add to the sophisticated urban style of The Milton, a new residential tower part of the redevelopment of the Pentagon Centre in Arlington.
Hartman Design Group’s interior design team focused on themes of connection and restoration, with every element of the interior designed to initiate social interaction. Full height windows and carefully considered public areas are enhanced with natural tones and textures with colorful accents.
Over 2,000 square feet of Armourcoat polished plaster was installed throughout the lobby, fitness center and clubroom at The Milton. Finishes include a white linen look, a black concrete finish and a mix of layered effects finished directly onto columns. Polished plaster is a natural mineral material composed of hydrated lime and crushed marble. It is trowel applied by specialist installers to create smooth or finely textured finishes which resemble polished stone in their appearance, hardness and touch.
