Instrata Pentagon City

A luxury apartment community in Virginia has been transformed with a modern grand redesign to create a stunning boutique experience. Together with studio and penthouse apartment upgrades, the ground floor public areas and amenities have been completely remodeled, including custom polished plaster wall finishes by specialist installer Senza Finé.

Located in the heart of Pentagon City, property developers Bozzuto and Invesco partnered with Hartman Design Group to modernize the Instrata Apartments.  Designed to maintain the apartments’ premium status, the renewed appearance has also encouraged a sense of community among the residents.

Contemporary features including stainless steel, granite and espresso wood specified for the interiors are combined with a custom ‘distressed stonewood’ polished plaster finish. Armourcoat polished plaster is a natural mineral material composed of hydrated lime and crushed marble to create surfaces with the look and feel of natural stone. It is trowel applied by the artisans at Senza Finé to create smooth or textured finishes which can be custom finished in a wide range of colors and effects.
