Senza Finé created custom wall finishes to add a wow factor to Mi Casa – an upscale Tex-Mex restaurant in Dupont Circle, Washington D.C. The 130-seat eatery conjures a ‘Tulum-meets-hacienda’ vibe with dramatic interiors featuring high ceilings and rugged stone walls.
Specified by Studio 3877 for Knead Hospitality + Design, over 500 square feet of custom polished plaster finishes were hand-applied by Manassas-based Senza Finé. Feature walls and stencils were finished with Armourcoat polished plaster to create a natural stone look. The reception desk and wall were similarly finished with a rugged stone appearance.
Armourcoat polished plaster is a natural mineral material composed of hydrated lime and crushed marble to create surfaces with the look and feel of natural stone. It is trowel applied by specialist installers to create smooth or textured finishes which can be custom finished in a wide range of colors and effects.
